The best photographs seem to happen when you and your newborn feel at home, so we photograph our sessions in your hospital room - where you and the baby feel most comfortable. This means you’re there to suggest ideas, to calm if necessary, and to be part of this important bonding experience.

When you’re packing up for the hospital, give some thought to bringing a special outfit or a favorite blanket, one that would serve as background for your pictures. Textured blankets look great! Fuzzy, fluffy and soft photograph very well, and the blanket should be a solid color or have a very simple pattern. Hospital provided attire is fine, of course, but an outfit of your choice adds to the personality of the photos.

Think about solids colors for the parents as well. We love a photograph or two of your baby in your arms, so you may want something other than the clothes or gown you’ve been living in for two days.

Shortly after your photo session, our photographer will return to your room with your First Day Photo proofs. This is when you’ll place your order. Payment is taken at the time of the order and, for your convenience we accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Your baby’s portrait session will also be posted on our password-protected online gallery for easy sharing with family and friends.
